The Luxurywish Buyback Privilege

1. ELIGIBLE PIECES 

The Luxurywish Buyback Privilege currently applies only to selected Hermès and Chanel pieces originally purchased directly through LUXURYWISH. 

Purchasing a Hermès or Chanel piece from LUXURYWISH does not automatically guarantee future buyback eligibility. 

Eligibility will be determined at the time the buyback request is submitted. 

2. BUYBACK VALUES ARE “UP TO” 

The percentages stated in our Buyback Value Guide represent the maximum amount an eligible piece may qualify for within the applicable ownership period. 

They should not be interpreted as guaranteed buyback values. 

The final offer may be lower depending on the results of our evaluation. 

3. CONDITION 

The condition of the piece at the time of buyback is an important factor in determining its value. 

Scratches, stains, discoloration, odor, corner wear, hardware wear, loss of structure, damage, excessive signs of use, or other deterioration may reduce the final offer or make a piece ineligible for buyback. 

4. INCLUSIONS 

Original inclusions may affect the value and eligibility of a piece. 

Missing boxes, dust bags, receipts, certificates, authenticity cards, straps, locks, keys, pouches, additional accessories, or other original inclusions may result in a lower buyback offer. 

5. REPAIRS & ALTERATIONS 

Any previous repair, restoration, recoloring, repainting, polishing, replacement of components, alteration, or modification must be disclosed to LUXURYWISH. 

Such work may affect the item’s value or eligibility under the program. 

6. MARKET DEMAND 

Buyback values may also be influenced by current market conditions, including the desirability of the particular model, size, color, material, hardware, year, specifications, market supply and demand, resale performance, and LUXURYWISH’s existing inventory. 

7. ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE 

Buyback percentages are calculated based on the actual item purchase price paid to LUXURYWISH after applicable discounts or adjustments. 

Delivery charges, authentication fees, payment processing charges, credit card or financing fees, interest, and other ancillary costs are excluded from the calculation unless expressly stated otherwise. 

8. BEYOND 12 MONTHS 

Pieces submitted more than twelve (12) months after their original purchase date will no longer be evaluated using a predetermined percentage. 

Instead, LUXURYWISH will assess the piece based on its current market value, condition, specifications, inclusions, demand, and resale potential at the time of the request. 

9. AUTHENTICITY & OWNERSHIP 

LUXURYWISH may require additional authentication, identification, proof of purchase, or proof of ownership before completing a buyback. 

By submitting a piece, the client represents that they are its lawful owner and have full authority to sell it. 

10. RIGHT TO DECLINE 

All buybacks are subject to LUXURYWISH’s final evaluation and approval. 

LUXURYWISH reserves the right, at its discretion, to decline any buyback request, including pieces that were originally purchased through LUXURYWISH or otherwise fall within the Buyback Value Guide. 

11. NO GUARANTEED VALUE OR RETURN 

The Luxurywish Buyback Privilege is a client benefit and should not be interpreted as a guarantee that an item will retain, increase, or achieve any particular market value. 

Luxury goods are subject to changing market conditions, and past or current resale values do not guarantee future value. 

12. FINALITY OF BUYBACK 

Once the client accepts the final offer, all required documentation has been completed, payment has been made, and ownership has transferred to LUXURYWISH, the buyback transaction is final and cannot be reversed. 

LUXURYWISH may thereafter price, market, sell, authenticate, repair, restore, or otherwise manage the purchased item at its discretion. 

13. CHANGES TO THE PRIVILEGE 

LUXURYWISH reserves the right to modify, suspend, discontinue, or update The Luxurywish Buyback Privilege, including its eligibility requirements, maximum buyback percentages, evaluation criteria, and other terms. 

Unless otherwise expressly agreed, the terms in effect at the time the buyback request is submitted will apply. 

CLIENT ACKNOWLEDGMENT 

By submitting a piece for consideration under The Luxurywish Buyback Privilege, you acknowledge that: 

Buyback eligibility is not guaranteed. 

Published percentages represent maximum potential values only. 

Final value depends on physical evaluation, condition, inclusions, specifications, and market demand. 

LUXURYWISH may decline a buyback request at its discretion. 

A completed buyback transaction is final. 

Because choosing well should hold its value.
